Wednesday, July 13, 2022 | | | | On the auspicious morning of Guru Purnima, Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, along with a few guests inaugurated the renovated and refurbished Sathya Sai Anandam, the Divine abode. | | | The land wherein music, arts, vedas and culture thrive, that land is blessed by the Divine Himself, it becomes auspicious.
The Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence envisions providing quality education of global standards aimed at developing human beings steeped in Sanatana Dharma with compassionate hearts, brilliant intellects and competent hands to serve humanity. To fulfil this vision, the University has established the Sri Adi Shankara Vedanta Shodha Kendra in its Muddenahalli Campus. | | | Sadguru inaugurated the Shodha Kendra for promoting the study and research of the advaitic philosophy of Sri Adi Shankara and for disseminating it to all. This will serve as the governing body of the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Veda Gurukulam which is currently conferring Veda Shikshana (education) in the traditional Gurukula system. Vedam and Nadam are the two lifelines of Indian culture. | | | The bhoomi pooja for the Sri Sathya Sai Nada Gurukulam, the School of Performing Arts, took place in the presence of Sadguru. Saplings of the Peepal tree (Sacred Fig tree) were also planted. The Nada Gurukulam will have department of music, both Carnatic and Hindustani; department of sculpture, painting and printing; department of Bharata Natyam dance and department of folk arts.

July 13, 2022 | | | | As has been the tradition on every Guru Purnima morning, the Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutha Prakashana, the books and publications division, offered various publications at the feet of Sadguru. This division was established in the year 2012 to preserve and translate the message of Sadguru Sri Madhusudhan Sai in all the major world languages. So far, more than 300 books and 600 booklets have been published. After more than two years the global translation teams of Sai Prakashana all gathered and humbly offered 33 publications, including 6 audio books in 18 World languages and one Indian language. July 13, 2022 | | | | The First Convocation 2022 was held on Guru Purnima Day in the evening, in the presence of the Chief Guest, Dr Mohan Ji Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham Auditorium in Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli. | | | The Convocation Commenced with 'Pomp and Circumstance'!

The National Anthem preceded the Lamp-Lighting Ceremony and was followed by Veda Chanting by both men and women students. | | | The dignitaries seated on the stage represented various facets of the brilliance of the Indian mind, from spirituality to science, from sports to fine arts and from education to health care. | | | A portal created by Sriranga Digital Software Technologies which is credited with digitizing the various Bhashyas of Sri Adi Shankaracharya, is headed by Professor C.S. Yogananda, an author and entrepreneur. The portal was formally launched by Dr. R. Chidambaram, eminent Nuclear Physicist.
A new Innovation and Incubation Center with the former scientist of DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization), Mr. S.A. Vasudev as its director, was formally launched by Dr. K. Kasturi Rangan, eminent Space Scientist. A collaborative MOU was exchanged between Dr. Srikanta Murthy, Vice Chancellor of the SSS University of Human Excellence and Dr. Vipin Kumar, Director National Innovation Foundation, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. | | On behalf of the University, the Chief Guest, Dr Mohan ji Bhagwat presented honorary doctorates to six eminent Indian citizens who have played important roles in the fields of science, space, nuclear technology, music, sports and social development.

July 29 - 30, 2022 | | | | Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai was welcomed in the morning by a grand procession which included the brass band, the Vedam group, the slow-march squad and also the majestic lion dance. Sadguru spent some time with the students before lunch. | | | In the evening, bhajans were sung in the Prayer Hall. The program began with Vedic invocation by the students of Sri Satya Sai Loka Seva Gurukulam, Kalaburagi Campus. The Chairman and Vice Chancellor of Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, Prof. Srikanta Murthy welcomed Sadguru and all his guests. | | | Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai indicated that the need of the hour is to produce Good Teachers and Doctors in these institutions which are a pillar of strength.
