Divine Will Foundation Newsletter December 2019 Annapoorna Breakfast Seva Thursday, November 14, 2019 Devotees Serving Breakfast at a Local School  New Initiative To Feed Everyone November 19, 2019 During the Inauguration of the World Youth Meet, Swami spoke about Service and Sacrifice which, He said, when practiced  would lead to Self Realization. He also mentioned that a true hero is one who turns inward, masters his mind and senses and takes to a path of sacrifice. Only such a hero can lead the world; one who is courageous enough to follow God and follow Truth. For Sathya Sai Baba's 94th Birthday, Swami announced the start of a new program across the world, where nobody goes to sleep on a hungry stomach. He said that He was inspired by Sree Sree Siddalinga Mahaswamigalu from the Sree Siddaganga Math in Tumkur who among other things, fed the hungry. They have a kitchen that never closes. Swami said that as youths take this opportunity to begin this program they need to sensitize themselves to the pain and need of others and the sorrow and suffering of others. Only then can it be called a heart of compassion or Hrudaya. The youth can learn from each other; lead themselves first and lead the world thereafter, towards happiness, prosperity and peace! "If I have eaten a meal today, I must ensure that I have fed somebody else who is also hungry."   World Youth Meet November 19 - 21, 2019 The World Youth Meet was officially inaugurated on the morning of November 19th, 2019. Swami, with His distinguished guests was escorted to the Premamrutham Hall by the Sai Brass Band and Flag Bearers from 32 countries. The symbolic oil lamp was lit and the official logo of the Meet was unveiled. Click Here For More Information The panel of guests seated on the dais were welcomed with a bouquet of flowers presented by a student and a delegate on behalf of Swami. The program began with Multi-Faith Prayers from all religions of the world presented by the delegates. This was followed by a speech from each guest culminating in the Divine Discourse! The program concluded with everyone joining in the Sarva Dharma Prayer.  Click Here to View the Morning Program Interactive Sessions were held for the youth in the afternoon and the evening Cultural Program included a talk by a delegate from Ukraine who gave a brief summary of the afternoon session. A drama titled 'Be an Inspiration; Let go and Let God' was presented by the youth from Singapore. Click Here to View the Evening Program On the second morning of the World Youth Meet, Swami arrived directly on stage with His entourage and chief guest, the Chairman of the National Institute of Open Schooling. The program began with Bhajans followed by speeches from Nithya Shanti, a spiritual teacher and an ordained Buddhist Monk and the Chief Guest. After a short break, the Baba Band from USA offered a garland of five songs. Swami asked them for an encore and came on stage with His guest for pictures. The evening program on November 20th began with Veda chanting followed by a summary of the morning session of the Youth Meet by Victory Craxi, the global youth coordinator. There were speeches by the Minister from Tamil Nadu and B.N. Narasimha Murthy followed by the Divine Discourse. The cultural program was a Radha Krishna Dance Ballet by Dr. Roshni Kesavan and students from four campuses of the Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions.  Click Here to View the Evening Program The morning program on November 21st was the final session of the Youth Meet. It began with talks on service and self-transformation by one youth each from Argentina, Brazil, Canada and the USA. While the audience waited for Swami's arrival, they practiced a song 'Make Me a Channel of Your Peace' with the help of the MC; they sang it to Him upon His arrival! This was followed by talks on the personal journey of self-transformation given by students from the Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions. Swami was informed that there were many questions the youth wanted answers to, so He agreed to answer several questions. As there were many more questions pending, He promised to answer them the following morning! They offered a bouquet of six songs to Swami for His Birthday. They were accompanied by several students from Sai Angels Brass Band. Their soulful music stole the hearts of all! The European Sai Youth Orchestra With Sai The evening program on November 21st began with Swami walking among the devotees in the Premamrutham Hall, spreading love and blessings! He then settled down to watch the evening program, a Musical Offering by the students and alumni of the Sri Sathya Sai Institutions. Click Here to View the Evening Program Swami With His Property! The morning program on November 22nd was a Bonus Session with Swami that He had blessed everyone witnessing it! The morning Grama Seva that had been planned had to be withheld due to local elections; and so He returned as promised to answer questions from the youth. Click Here to View the Morning Program   Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba 94th Birthday Celebrations  November 23rd, 2019 Swami received a grand welcome as He was escorted from Sai Anandam, His abode, to Premamrutham Hall, by the Brass Band, Flag Bearers from around the world, girl students dancing Indian Classical Dance, Veda chanting students, several others on Motorcycles and Horseback. There were thousands of devotees waiting for Him in the Hall along with many viewing the grand event on live streaming! Birthday Felicitations! Devotees From Singapore Pouring Out Their Hearts  In Love And Gratitude To Their Beloved Swami! Book Launch of 'Karishye Vachanam Tava' A Life in Surrender Madhusudan Sai by Bhuvana Santhanam  Several books and CDs were launched during the morning celebrations. The program included a musical offering by Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash. The Divine Discourse and Arati concluded the program. As the curtains on stage at the Premamrutham Hall parted, Swami was seen seated on a Jhoola (swing). He wore a Burgundy robe and dhoti and looked like He was presiding over an event in Vaikuntha (celestial abode of Vishnu). His students were seated on either side and they sang to Him throughout the evening! After Arati He walked off the stage amongst all His devotees for a huge exchange of love. Fireworks were planned for the evening on the east side of Sai Anandam (His abode) and they could be seen from anywhere in the Ashram and they proved to be spectacular! Pure Bliss!   USA Team Visit to Tumkur Campus November 25, 2019 After a two and a half hour ride from Muddenahalli, Team USA reached Sri Sathya Sai Karunyaniketanam, Boys' Campus in Tumkur, around noon. The boys offered flowers and greeted them with joyful applause! The team had lemonade with jaggery as they sat together in the Prayer Hall to watch slides of the boys' activities for the year 2019. This was followed by a Q&A session; after which lunch was served in the new Prayer Hall - this was the first time since Swami's visit that the boys had lunch there! A prayer/talk session was then held and the USA team handed over the gifts they had brought. This was followed by a classroom observation. The USA Team had a photo session with 7th grade boys who were near Lord Ganesha, after which they were given a warm send off by the boys who took blessings from them before they returned to the car. The boys stood waving their hands  until the car disappeared at the corner of the road! It was a very blissful trip that was made possible by the coordinators and those who drove to Tumkur and back. They sang bhajans and chatted as they drove. It felt like a visit to a temple or a holy place. It was very special for the USA devotees since Swami gave this school to them to take part in the construction of the campus. The team told Swami during their interview about sponsoring three classrooms as a birthday gift; He said, "it is not three classrooms, it is three temples"! It is indeed a temple that the team visited. They felt grateful for the Grace and opportunity to see the temple and the divine children and staff! It was difficult to leave the premises that had been built with Divine Love and Purity! Swami's Grace is immeasurable and the Staff are really blessed, Divine beings transforming the children! The team experienced the love and purity of the children who came from impoverished environments and yet bore no regrets and shared everything with joy and looked forward to life! When asked what they want to be when they grew up; the only answer was "Serve Swami"!
