Issue 169 - March 22, 2020 | | In 2016 a Satsang held in the divine presence at Spain a devotee seeks guidance on the Cisternino Ashram.
Here is what Swami said:
Since I decided that an Ashram would be built, why are you worried? I will do it. There may be delays, but it will definitely happen. Move close to the Ashram and stay there. Give up the old house, work in the Ashram and live near the Ashram. It will happen – do not worry about it.
(To the audience) She is worried about the delay.
All My missions are like opportunities, like boarding a train. The train will come in its own time and will go in its own time, not waiting for those who come late. They will have to wait for another train if they miss this one. Those who board the train will go forward along with it, whilst those who do not board because of their own issues, will have to wait for the next one, or be left behind. If I can get work done through monkeys, can I not get it done through human beings?
It will happen – do not worry. You move to Cisternino, close to the Ashram. By next year, there will be an Ashram in Spain, as well. Not here, some distance from here. It is part of the Master Plan. | | Seva Activities of the Argentine Youth | | The youths of Argentina carry out Seva activities in five different cities of the country. They serve food for the needy in their own communities and surrounding areas. During February, they served 1,717 people in La Plata, Buenos Aires City, Moron, Escobar and Salta.
La Plata is a city located 90 km away from Buenos Aires City. The youth gathered every Friday and prepared homemade vegetarian sandwiches for children and families of four dining rooms and the homeless of a poor neighbourhood. | | Ontario Seva The food packets distributed consisted of Oatmeal Cookies, Chocolate Bars, Hot Chocolate Mix and a Disposable Coffee Cup. | | Alberta Seva The Youths of Alberta distributed food packets consisting of Juice Boxes, Granola Bars, Ciabatta Buns and Fresh Bananas. | | Homeless Shelter Feeding in Manhattan, Kansas | | Since December, few youths in the Manhattan, KS area have been conducting monthly feeding at the homeless shelter in town, called Manhattan Emergency Shelter Inc. (MESI). Although they never get to meet the beneficiaries of the warm vegetarian meals they bring, the manager taking the meal drop-offs is very appreciative of their warm gesture.
On the third Saturday of every month, the youths gather to drop off fresh, hot meals. The first two months, freshly made Mexican food of vegetable fajitas, tortillas, rice, beans, cheese quesadillas, chips, salsa, guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo (salsa fresca) were served with fruits or cupcakes as desserts. | | Feed The Need Seva March 1, 2020 Houston, Texas - USA | | The Houston Young Adults, once again, gathered together on Sunday March 1, 2020 to take part in the monthly Feed the Need Seva. This month's Seva, as always, consisted of preparing 108 brown paper lunch bags. Each bag contained one delicious sandwich, one pack of crackers and one juice box. However, the sandwich was made slightly differently this time.
Instead of buying sliced bread from the supermarket as they always do, the host was kind enough to wake-up early in the morning to go and rescue burger buns from a nearby bread factory called Slow Dough where they throw away perfectly good bread that was made in excess and have no space for storage. | | | | | | | | |
